Samaira Uddin reports on the new Rocksteady Studios title, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

Rocksteady Studios brings you a spin-off of the beloved Batman: Arkham series, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which was released on February 2, 2024. A villain named Brainiac is becoming a big problem to the point where a character named Amanda Walker has to force well-known villains to join her Task Force X, nicknamed “Suicide Squad”, to stop the dangerous antagonist. The team includes Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark, who are tasked with the seemingly impossible mission. Either free the Justice League members or kill them.
If you have played the previous Arkham games or are playing this for the first time with fresh ears, here’s what you need to know. The game is an action-adventure shooter in an open world, a concept growing in popularity in recent years. The player must defeat enemies to finish the quests you are provided with, or if they happen to be in your way as you explore. The game takes place 5 years after the events of Arkham Knight, and is set in Metropolis, where aliens have taken root. The game features the Justice League's brainwashing, completely changing their persona, becoming the antithesis of what they represent.
Gameplay-wise, there is a solo or multiplayer option. If you do play in solo mode, the player can switch between characters at will while the other characters are controlled by AI. Otherwise, team up with your friends to take down the rogue heroes. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is now available to play on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.
