Our FHS award winning FHS Madrigal singers, also known as the Blue N' Gold Singers, carol throughout the halls of FHS the day before Winter Break commences each year. Listening to the FHS Madrigals is one of our favorite Franklin High School traditions, as they help celebrate the Holiday Season of 2025.
The Franklin High School Madrigals won the NBC4/ Telemundo 47's Star Choir Holiday Singing Competition! They had the opportunity to perform on NBC's Christmas at Rockefeller Center, as well as meet choir judge and pop star, Kelly Clarkson. We are so proud of their accomplishments, and were excited to see them perform on National TV on December 3, 2025!
Today, December 23, 2025, the Madrigals dress in Renaissance Era costumes when caroling through the halls. Their performances not only bring holiday cheer but also provide a glimpse into the history of music and traditions. This year the students and staff listened to the Madrigal's Award Winning Arrangement of "Joy to the World," "Carol of the Bells," "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen," and more!
