The homecoming game at Franklin High; a time where we come together for food, football, and more importantly fun. The Franklin Warriors played our homecoming game on Friday, September 30 on our home field.

This year Franklin went against North Brunswick High School for our homecoming game. The tailgate started at 4 pm, where students were able to get free food after they bought their tickets. Tickets were sold during lunch blocks for the entirety of the week prior to the event. We had many students running for homecoming court. Students voted for them on the Friday of the game, and the winners were announced during halftime.

This year we decided to switch things up and ask the players, cheerleaders, and coaches to see how they think the game will go! Here's what they said. Many of the cheerleaders said that we were not going to win and their reasoning behind this was because North Brunswick High School was undefeated this season.

Regardless of other’s opinions the players and coaches had faith in themselves. We ended the first quarter with a score of 0 - 7. By halftime, we were 0 - 28. By the end of the third quarter, we were up 7 - 28. We fought till the end, with the final score being 14 - 34.

During halftime, the homecoming prince and princesses were announced for each grade. For our freshmen, Zayla Salas and Troy Hyman. Our Sophomores, Pia Donelly and Chris Duran. For the juniors, Amanda Williams, and Gabby Stewart. And finally our seniors, Torie Shneck and Andy Lam.

Our Warriors will be playing Sayreville, this Friday, October 7, 2022. This game will be away, against Sayreville. So wish our Football team the best of luck!
