Netlfilx’s “You” Comes To An End With The Final Season Premiering On April, 24 2025

Netflix’s hit show “You” is back for its fifth and final season, and fans are excited to see how Joe Goldberg’s crazy story will end. Since Season 1, we’ve watched Joe fall in love, obsess, and do whatever it takes to keep his relationships and this usually leads to terrifying consequences. Now, in Season 5, the stakes are higher than ever before.  

Joe is back in New York City, but this time he’s no longer just a quiet bookstore employee. After marrying billionaire Kate Lockwood, he now has power, money, and influence. Yet even with his fancy new life, Joe can’t escape who he really is. His past mistakes still get the best of him, and the urge to control and manipulate others is still strong.  

This season introduces Bronte, a talented playwright who works in Joe’s bookstore. She’s creative and free-spirited, unlike anyone Joe has met before. He’s drawn to her, but getting close to her could be dangerous for both of them. Meanwhile, Kate’s wealthy and ruthless family, including her twin sisters Reagan and Maddie Lockwood, make Joe’s life even more complicated. They don’t fully trust him, and if he makes one wrong move, everything that he spent so hard and so long doing could eventually come crashing down.  

As Joe tries to balance his new life with his old habits, secrets begin to resurface. People from his past return, and his carefully built world could collapse. Since it was know that fans were excited for the new season I wanted to see if some of my classmates were just as excited, I interviewed Andy Flores who is a Freshman here in Franklin High School to see what he thought about this new season, this is what he had to say “This season was really good, however I think that the showriters rushed the ending but overall this whole series was really good and this season was even better with all of the plot twists that it had.”
