New Exorcist Film Believer Stuns Audiences Worldwide

The Exorcist: Believer is a 2023 film that was released to theaters on October 6. The film was produced by Blumhouse Productions 50 years after the original exorcist film was released. Much like the original film, this film was well received in the horror fanbase. Google Reviews user, King Lear, said,”I went hoping for something fantastic, I was not disappointed! As a movie it is great, well shot, well acted! And does not rely on jump scares - although a few are present.” Much like this review, Farhan Ashraf called the movie an “absolute masterpiece,” further showing the well thought out and, well-written, and well-produced movie. The production is described as skillfully constructed and well-crafted.

David Gordon Green, with his spin on the movie The Exorcist, stated in an interview with TIME MAGAZINE, “I watched The Exorcist for the first time 15 minutes at a time over a number of days. And it blew my mind.” The director and co-writer of the movie The Exorcist: Believer is able to put a spin on his favorite movie.

Although the movie was not as well-received as the original movie, The Exorcist, the new Exorcist movie serves as quite an impressive example of a well-thought-out movie.

The original film, described as an intriguing, unique, untouchable, and just overall creative movie and concept, turned out to be one of the most well-received and successful horror movies in the industry. 50 years later, the new movie inspired by the brilliant production of the first movie is reaching the same love that The Exorcist did in the past 50 years.
