Outer Banks Season 4 Sparks Mixed Emotions From Fans Of The Series

Many fans of the Netflix original series Outer Banks are happy to hear that the brand new season has been fully released. The directors of the show have decided to get more viewers by building more suspense and releasing the show in two different parts. The first part came out October 10th 2024, and the second part released on November 7th 2024. The creators have stated that this will not be the last season of Outer banks because of all the support they have gotten from the show, and they stated that season 5 will in fact be the last season.

Some background knowledge that is known, is that we left off on the group JJ, John B, Pope, Cleo, Sarah, Pope, Kiara all getting applauded by many citizens that live on the same island as them because they were able to find lost treasure that had not been found in centuries.

I interviewed a student here at FHS Jayden Inoa who has seen the new season. If there were any pros of the new season, he states, “I like how they build suspense to a lot of scenes and how they manage to make it fun and happy too. What I'm basically trying to say is that I like how emotions from some episodes can be the complete opposite than from other episodes. And I also like how they ended this season on sort of a cliffhanger to get the viewers ready for what's left to come.”

Of course, there were some cons. One of those being that, even though the ending built up some suspense, many viewers may be annoyed by the cliffhanger, and are now forced to wait a while for the directors to release the next, and final season of the show. On the contrary, some fans did approve of this decision, because it got them more intrigued and interested in the show. The directors currently have not sent out a release date for the new season, but it has been speculated that it will come out sometime in 2025, on Netflix.
