Smile, You're a Senior!

Upcoming is what every senior waits for, and it’s their very own senior pictures. This is the time to get dressed in their best outfit and take photos that will last a lifetime. If an appointment time hasn’t been set already, act quickly because spots are filling up quickly! The dates for senior pictures are: Oct 9 - 11th and Oct 14 - 18th.

The pictures were taken by the very well-known Lors Photography, which has been taking photos for the district for many years. To get a deeper understanding of this long-awaited day, we have testimony from one of FHS’s very own seniors, Precious-Gem Wheeler! The testimony reads: “My overall experience with senior photos was very good!” She was then asked about her outfit choice, in which she replied, “I went for a classy chic look, so I went to the mall the week off and found a skirt and blazer set to pair with my loafers and ruffle socks.”

She continued and shared with me what she did during the pictures and the atmosphere brought by the people that were taking these pictures, in which she voiced, “The people were very kind to me, as they let me use not only my props but theirs as well. They took their time, and it didn’t feel rushed whatsoever, which I loved. After I took pictures with props, I took headshot pictures. They made sure it looked good and that nothing was out of place, which I highly appreciated. Shortly after headshots, we took cap and gown pics, which went very quick.”

Class of 2025, it’s the year that has been highly anticipated since 2021, where graduation is near but so far. The time is approaching when the seniors at FHS spread their wings and fly into the new world! Can’t make any of those days? Or happen to miss the appointment?
