HOMECOMING: Written by KAREN CATCHPOLE

It’s that time of year!

FHS Homecoming was Saturday, October 19, 2024. The theme was “Masquerade” this year, and it included food, drinks, & dancing all night. Homecoming is an American high school tradition to welcome back returning students and welcome freshmen to the school. Tickets were $25 and could be purchased during all lunches on A days and B days. The dance lasted from 6 to 10 PM in the gym.

SAFE HALLOWEEN: Written by JESSICA MACIAS-VELEZ

Boo!

Halloween was on October 31. Everyone looked for new costume ideas and how to one-up their friends. Trick-or-treating is a very popular tradition for many Americans to celebrate.

FHS offered a “Safe Halloween Alternative.” Many volunteers came together in the high school to play with the elementary students in many different activities such as: ring toss, “What’s in the Box?”, bean bag toss, candy corn bowling, and other school-appropriate activities. This event is to have fun and ensure everyone can have a fun but Safe Halloween.

FALL PEP RALLY: Written by ARLENY BARAHONA

The Fall Pep Rally of 2024 was October 25th, the event you won’t want to miss out on. This Pep Rally was held in the gym, where all grades could have fun and play games. The Pep Rally prepared the Warriors for the football game later in the day. The freshman, sophomore, juniors, and seniors had their own theme: Spiderman, Minions, Men in Black, and Barbie.

Lots of games consisted of grades going head-to-head, but all is friendly fire. While there were games, there were also performances. Like every year, the dance crew was on fire with their performance and hyped the crowd. There were other performances, as well. Go Warriors!
