What is there to expect with the new upcoming Phase 5 of Marvel?

Marc shares what to expect from the upcoming Marvel Films with FHS students.


As Marvel's phase 5 comes upon us many marvel fans are excited. Many new thrilling movies and shows are releasing soon in Theaters or on Disney+ soon. During Comic Con 2022, Kevin Feige recently revealed the MCU list of new films coming in the next couple years. As Phase Four is coming to an end it was announced that Phase 5 will start on 17 February, 2023 and end July 26, 2024. Phase five includes the films Ant-Man-Wasp Quantumania, Secret invasion, Echo, Guardians of the Galaxy, Loki season 2, The Marvels, Blade, Iron Heart, DareDevil, Agatha Coven of Chaos, and Captain America and Thunder Bolts.


Phase 4 of Marvel is coming to an end. Phase 4 will end with the new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in November 2022. Phase 4 made a big impact on the Marvel community in positive and negative ways. Many fans fear the ongoing phases of Marvel. Phase 4 has been credited to be the worst marvel phase yet. The head of Marvel says they will not disappoint and the fans have nothing to fear with Phase 5. They suspect that Disney+ rates will have a great increase once they start to release these motion pictures. A great way to get started on the upcoming MCU films could be by reading the marvel comics that relate to the films coming out in the future. They have also announced that there will be comebacks of certain heroes in this new phase.


Phase four had the films WandaVision, Loki, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Hawkeye, and included the movies Black Widow, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love & Thunder. This follows the two ongoing Disney + films Ms. Marvel and She Hulk. Phase 5 includes six TV series and seven movies. After many years of planning Phase 5. Marvel is intrigued to see the public's reactions to these newly approaching movies and shows.
