Daenille Arbiol documents how FHS celebrates the accomplishments of women in the past and present.

The students and staff of Franklin High School are proud to announce that this year will feature another documentary celebrating Women’s History Month. Last year’s film featured wonderful female 2023 graduates portrayed as important female figures in history. This year’s film will highlight the importance of every woman in everyone’s day-to-day life.
Teachers at Franklin High School were interviewed about influential women in their lives. One of FHS’s beloved psychology teachers, Mr Brandon, said, “One of the women most influential to me in my life was my 12th grade creative writing teacher. She was an absolutely amazing teacher, very engaging, very funny, and encouraged constant creativity... she made me feel like everyday I was contributing something to the class... I still use a memory of her today as my inspiration to teach.”
History teacher, Mrs. Juvhnevicious said, “For me growing up my grandmother on my father’s side was the most influential for me since I was very close with her and she would spend a lot of time talking about her childhood and learning a lot of life lessons from her.”
This year’s documentary at the end of Women’s History Month will really highlight how Franklin High School appreciates women and how important they are, and get the recognition they deserve.
