This excitement shows in the big money brands spend, with 30-second ads sometimes costing up to $8 million recently.
I sat down with FHS student Samson Adeniyi to get his take on the super bowl commercials. “Super Bowl ads are special since viewers want to be entertained,” “Brands go all in—using good stories, famous stars, and funny moments—to make ads that stick in people’s minds even after the game is over.”
Over the years, certain commercials have stood out, becoming iconic in advertising history. For instance, Budweiser's Clydesdale ads have become a Super Bowl tradition, with their 2025 spot featuring an ambitious foal being one of the most popular ads of the year.Celebrity endorsements have a big part. The 2025 Super Bowl had many famous ads, with stars like Martha Stewart and Post Malone, which made the commercials more attractive and shareable.
The Super Bowl is a big sports event, and its ads have made their own mark, providing fun that competes with the game. Through humor, memories, or emotional scenes, these commercials are now a well-liked custom, showing that often, the most enjoyable part of the event might not be the game.
